Dear Students

I welcome you all to Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur " .

Though it is a nascent University, you will find here a vibrant academic ambience as we have qualified faculty, as well as eminent professionals and personalities visiting the campus with whom you may have interaction for an in-depth understanding of the important issues dealt with by them. Besides extra-curricular activities, there will be study tours to places of historical, cultural and archaeological importance.

In the last academic session, our students visited Ranakpur, Mount Abu (Both sites of world famous Jain temples), Kheechan (Famous for migratory birds) and Delhi. It was a moment of glory and honour for the University when on the 1st of December, 2014, the Hon'ble President of India very magnanimously granted permission to the students and faculty to visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and addressed them.

The University though located in a temporary campus, has excellent infrastructure- AC classrooms, library, computer labs, language lab, dining hall, etc. besides playground for sports and physical activities. There are decent, separate hostels for boys and girls. The construction work on the permanent campus is in full swing and we are likely to shift there next year.

Realising the potential of this unique University in South Asia, a number of top national institutes and think tanks have entered into MoUs and collaborations with us. They include- Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi; National Law University, Jodhpur; National Law University, Delhi; Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi; India Foundation, New Delhi; The Gateway House, Mumbai; Bureau of Police Research and Development, New Delhi; Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi; Raksha Shakti University, Ahmedabad; Manipal University, Jaipur; UNICEF, Department of Child and Women Empowerment, Govt. of Rajasthan; North-Eastern Police Academy, Shillong; etc.

In a short span of two years, the University organised a number of noteworthy national seminars, workshops and conferences on Cyber Security, Road Safety, Social Defence and Gender Studies, Police Studies, Criminal Justice System and National Security issues. The International Conference on “Integrated approach to Counter Terrorism” organised at Jaipur from 18-21 March, 2015 was graced by the Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Raje, National Security Advisor Shri Ajit Doval besides a host of other dignitaries and top security experts which included 50 such luminaries from countries like The USA, China, Israel, Russia, Italy, UK, France, Serbia, Singapore, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, etc. and over 125 from India.
